For nearly two decades, the BIO World Congress has served as a catalyst to the growth and evolution of the bioeconomy. From the conversations started in BIO One-on-One PartneringTM that have led to critical partnerships, to the emerging company presentations that spurred investment, the conference has made an impact on our industry and lives. The event has helped build a powerful network of industry thought leaders, academia and decision-makers.
And breakthroughs in agriculture and environment biotechnology are starting to visibly transform our everyday lives – including the food we eat, the fuels that move us, and the materials we rely on. So, to better represent the influence our innovation has across these sectors, BIO has chosen a name that is a more accurate reflection of this important event and the work of our members: BIO IMPACT Ag & Environment Conference.
Known as “BIO IMPACT”, the event will attract 1,000 thought leaders from 30 countries and feature timely discussions, critical programming, dynamic partnering, and opportunities to pitch investors. This new focus will allow the impact of biotech on our everyday lives to take center stage. BIO invites you to be a part of 2020 BIO IMPACT in Raleigh, North Carolina, September 21-24.
Start preparing for BIO IMPACT now by submitting a proposal to participate and be sure to watch out for more on the new BIO IMPACT throughout the year. To help you start planning your visit, however, here are some other event updates to keep in mind:
