Company Presentations at the CEO & Investor Conference are 13-minute presentations given by senior-level executives. They showcase a company’s pipeline, R&D activities, business objectives and investment goals. For the 2023 CEO & Investor Conference, the presentations can be given in person, virtually, or both.
Companies and organizations present at the CEO & Investor Conference to get in front of an exclusive audience of public and private equity investors, plus other biotech executives. Presenters also receive exclusive benefits not available to general attendees, including pre-conference marketing.
The CEO & Investor Conference will feature presentations across the stages of biotech. This will include a smaller group of early stage with a larger group of established private companies and including publicly funded companies. Those interested in presenting must have a clear R&D focus, with a pipeline involving biotechnology therapeutics, diagnostics, or platform technologies. This can include patient advocacy groups. Service providers will not be considered, but should email our Sponsorship Team to discuss alternative ways to highlight your initiatives with a dedicated team member. For companies looking to participate in the Discovery or Emerging Innovators Tracks, there are additional financial qualifications, explained in more detail on the registration page. All applications submitted will be reviewed and appropriate companies will be approved to present.
All presentations are 13 minutes in length.
All companies and organizations that are interested in presenting are encouraged to submit an application. Your application will be reviewed, and you will be notified shortly of its status. Should your application be accepted, registration and logistical details would then be provided. Please note that Company Presentations for CEO 2023 are now closed as of 1/26/23.
The deadline to submit an application is January 28. However, in-person presentation space is limited, and applications should be submitted as soon as possible. Once presentation spots are sold out, applications will be wait-listed, and companies will be notified if/when a presentation slot becomes available.
Yes. The presenter must purchase a registration pass in order to give them access to the sessions, BIO One-on-One Partnering, and networking events. There is also an additional presentation fee. For more information on registration and presentation pricing, please visit our registration page.
All registered attendees and investors have full access to the company presentations at this event.
In-person presenters will need to upload their presentations onsite. Virtual presenting companies will need to submit an mp4 file of their presentation about two weeks before the event. Approved presenters will receive detailed instructions on what to submit and the next steps. Or if you have more questions, please reach out to present@bio.org.
Designed for maximum flexibility, in-person attendance provides access to meet with other in-person attendees on-site in New York during conference hours Monday, February 6, and Tuesday, February 7. In addition, in-person attendees can take virtual meetings, hosted through unique, secure BIO-provided Zoom links on Wednesday, February 8, and Thursday, February 9.

The BIO One-on-One Partnering™ system makes connections on a company-to-company basis. Delegates’ accounts will be placed under a company profile along with their colleagues as they register for the conference. After filling out their company and delegate profiles and setting their calendar availability for meetings, delegates search for and send meeting requests to other companies of interest and accept incoming meeting requests as appropriate.
You can expect to find senior biotech executives, and business development leaders from leading companies, and analysts and investors from premier firms participating in partnering in-person in New York or attending virtually from around the globe.

In-person partnering meetings will be held Monday, February 6 and Tuesday, February 7 at the New York Marriott Marquis during conference hours and virtual partnering meetings will be held Wednesday, February 8 through Thursday, February 9 via unique, secure BIO-provided Zoom links.
There are two attendance types: In-person & Virtual and Virtual. Those who are attending the conference onsite will be labeled as In-person & Virtual, and those participating only virtually will be labeled as Virtual. These attendance types ensure your partnering meetings are scheduled at the appropriate locations and times, according to how you are participating in the conference.

Once a meeting request has been accepted, you do not need to do anything more to get it scheduled. All meetings will be scheduled by BIO and provided an appropriate location, whether in-person or virtual, to accommodate the meeting participants’ attendance types and calendar availability.
Partnering meeting scheduling will begin on January 23, 2023. Scheduling will continue on a rolling basis until the end of the conference.
The partnering system will be open for one year following the end of the event. You will be able to send follow-up messages to companies with whom you’ve met or had previous correspondence via the partnering system. You will not be able to send any new meeting requests after 11:59 PM EDT February 9, 2023.
If you are ineligible to receive your booster vaccine but are up to date with your primary vaccinations, you can still attend the conference in-person.
If you had COVID-19 within 10 days of the event, we ask that you please attend the conference virtually.
If you recovered from COVID-19 more than 10 days before the event and are still receiving positive test results, please provide the following documentation during our screening process:
- The result of a COVID-19 test taken no more than 90 days before the event
- A letter from a licensed healthcare provider stating that you were cleared to travel.
