For access to BIO One-on-One Partnering™, you must register for the "BIO Premier Access" package. If you are exhibiting, you can purchase Exhibitor Booth Partnering for access to BIO One-on-One Partnering™. The BIO One-on-One Partnering system will open in late March 2023. After the system opens, you can expect to receive your partnering login information and access to the system within 1-2 business days of your completed registration. Be sure to add noreply.partnering@bio.org to your safe senders list to receive your login credentials.

Format will deliver four (4) days of BIO One-on-One Partnering for business development, networking events, along with expert-level programming content focused on the most pressing industry topics including COVID-19, Infectious Diseases, Oncology, Business Development, Financing Trends, Cell, and Gene Therapy, Digital Health, and more.  There will be a variety of panels and presentations across all four (4) days,

You can expect to find senior biotech executives and business development leaders from thousands of companies from around the globe participating in Partnering. Last year, BIO International 2022 conducted 44,000+ partnering meetings between delegates from 3,890+ companies and 51 countries.

Yes, the fee to add a company presentation to your registration is $1600 for BIO members and $2050 for non-members (Early Bird by 3/17) and $1800 for BIO Members, and $2250 for non-members (Standard).   You must purchase a Premier Access registration package to apply for a company presentation. Details on the short presentation application form are available here.

The BIO One-On-One Partnering™ system makes connections on a company-to-company basis. Delegates’ accounts will be placed under a company profile along with their colleagues as they register for the conference. After filling out their company and delegate profiles and setting their calendar availability for meetings, delegates search for and send meeting requests to other companies of interest and accept incoming meeting requests as appropriate.

Each company profile is allowed 150 outstanding outgoing meeting requests. Once a meeting request is accepted, declined, or canceled, it no longer counts against that limit. There is no limit on the total number of requests a company can send, only a limit on how many can be outstanding at any one time.

The 2023 BIO International Convention Call for Sessions will open on September 9, 2022.

BIO 2023 will be taking place at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center (415 Summer St, Boston, MA 02210) in the Seaport District of Boston, MA.

You must be 21 years of age or older to attend the BIO International Convention. As there are a few exceptions, if you are under the age of 21, you will need to fill out the required waiver when you visit the registration desk for your credentials.

Yes, the government/academic rate is less than the non-member rates. Please go to our registration page for more information about pricing.

We are only accepting credit card and wire transfer payments only.  

You must first register. Once you arrive at the checkout page, send your request to CustomerCare@bio.org, and a team member will send the invoice within 3 business days. Wire payments will not be accepted after May 2, 2023.

You should contact the BIO International Convention team at customercare@bio.org and after verification from the BIO Membership department, the proper adjustment will be made to your record and a credit card refund will be issued.

All confirmations are HTML (Web) pages at the conclusion of your registration and are printable. Additionally, an email confirmation is sent immediately following the completion of online registration. If you have not received a confirmation, please check your spam or junk mail folder.

When registering you can only pay by credit card (MasterCard, Visa, American Express).  Wire transfer will be accepted upon request.

• Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing on or before Thursday, May 4, 2023, to receive a partial refund.
• A $600 administrative fee will be deducted from all cancellation refunds.
• Approved refunds will be processed after the conference. BIO regrets that refunds will not be given for no-shows/non-participants.
• Exhibition Access registrations or additional Exhibitor Booth Personnel registrations cannot be canceled and are non-refundable.
• Cancellation requests received after May 4, 2023, will not be honored. Email cancellation requests to customercare@bio.org.
• To transfer your registration to another individual, send an email to customercare@bio.org on or before Thursday, May 18, 2023.

The 2023 Convention will be held in person June 5-8 at the Boston Convention.

Attendees that meet the following requirements will receive a credit of $500. This credit must be applied to the 2024 BIO International Convention in San Diego. Exhibition Access registration is not eligible for a credit. 

Requirements: 

To receive a credit, proof of a positive COVID-19 test dated between Friday, June 2, 2023 – Thursday, June 8, 2023, must be provided to BIO no later than Thursday, June 8. BIO will only accept test results from a PCR, RT-PCR, NAAT, or a rapid test that has been administered by a medical professional at a testing site or pharmacy.  

BIO will not accept at-home or over-the-counter COVID-19 test results. If an attendee has recently had COVID-19, please adhere to the CDC quarantine and isolation guidelines. 

Please send your proof of a positive COVID-19 test to eventsafety@bio.org  

As your login credentials will come from noreply.biopartnering@bio.org please add this address to your safe senders' list.

For security purposes, a delegate's email address must correlate to his or her identity and registered company in order to access the system. This means that the email you register with must match your name as well as your company. To further ensure security, the following Internet browsers are supported: Google Chrome (v. 42.0 and above), Internet Explorer (v. 11.0 and above), Mozilla Firefox (v. 37.0 and above), and Safari for Mac (v. 8.0 and above).

Business Forum Partnering is for attendees that have purchased a Premier Registration package. This package allows you to access dedicated meeting rooms within the Business Forum. 

Exhibitor Booth Partnering allows exhibiting companies to have their partnering meetings scheduled at their booth in the Exhibit Hall. Exhibitor Partnering Contacts (EPCs) can conveniently have their meetings in exhibitor-appointed meeting points within individual exhibit booths and pavilions in the Exhibit Hall.  

There are several new, unique ways you can elevate your company’s visibility at BIO 2023. BIO offers unique ways for start-ups to engage. Start-ups are encouraged to apply to participate in the Start-Up Stadium. This program is designed to provide start-up companies with the opportunity to engage with key members of the investment community, venture philanthropy groups, strategic partners, and non-dilutive capital at the world’s largest biotechnology event. 

Exhibiting and Sponsoring the event provides the best opportunity for bioprocess, service providers CROs/CMOs to showcase their company's brand, help them identify new partners, and strengthen their business connections. Learn more about how to get involved here.

Company Presentations are 13-minute presentations given by senior-level executives. They showcase a company’s pipeline, R&D activities, business objectives, and investment goals.  

We encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible. Applications will be accepted for review until May 2023.
